Merlin...
has stated that he has very little to do with the descriptions of him in histories of
times long ago.  We have come to know him as the Spark of Creation, and as our
sessions with Merlin have progressed, we have learned that he is the keeper or
guardian of all Akashic Records and is what could be called "long-time friend" of
that called God/Goddess.  It is a great pleasure to feel his certainty flow forth with
clear words, challenging statements, and of course an enjoyable sense of humor.
Merlin:  
      Ah yes, you want me to speak of the year two thousand and eight, this upcoming year, as if
it is laid in stone.  And of course I cannot speak of what will be as if I am ordering it to take form;
yet I can and will speak of the possibilities as the energies and patterns flow within this moment.  
Now don’t miss those words.  What do they mean?  Obvious, don’t you think?  Yet I’ll give you an
example.
   If you were to be walking down a road and come upon two different ways to walk.  One way is
quite muddy, the other dry and made for easy walking.  Your plans, in this example, were to take
the way that is now quite muddy.  Right in that moment you have a choice.  While it’s true that
neither choice is correct or incorrect, it seems to me – and hopefully to you – that the dry and
easy way might be one to be considered… that is, unless you are a martyr.  
   In a like manner, when I speak of this upcoming year, I am speaking of what might be.  And of
course, being magicians, you are able to change your experience of what might be, by your
choice.  Notice I didn’t say that you could change what might be, though you may.  I did say that
you could change your experience of what might be by your choice.  And I’d be belaboring the
point if I kept on with the above example, but humor me for a moment.  If it’s going to rain, it
seems to me that the dry road will give you a different experience during such rain, than the
already muddy road.  You aren’t changing the fact that it will rain – though some of you are
adept at that practice – you are simply changing your experience of the rain by whatever choices
you make.
   In a like manner, if you are accustomed to discovering your own pleasures, your own
fulfillments, and your own joys in your lifely adventure, then you are already making choices that
will give to you experiences that will match such choices.  And if you’ve forgotten how to play or
don’t think it’s worthwhile, then I suppose you’ll have a great time discovering stomping around in
the mud!  Oh yes, I am enjoying a sense of humor today, but I am not without point!  All right,
then I’ll get on with the speaking of this upcoming year, as it appears from this moment.
   You have the phrase “the walls come tumbling down” and it is now an appropriate phrase for
the structures that have been created to manipulate the cause and effect as it continues to
deliver to those who believe they have figured out this power thing, all the riches and spoils of
this last war.  The people – in all lands – will take no more, will suffer quietly no more, and will
begin a sound that will build and build and build until the entire world is forced to listen.  You, my
dears, are most aware of much of the horrific events occurring upon your earth, as is earth most
aware.  And I wouldn’t want to dash your hopeful dreams to the ground, as you say, but the truth
is that you are not quite aware of what is occurring.  There are much more horrific occurrences
than are reported in your news, even in your underground news.  Yet such suffering has a
sound and it is that sound that is building.  And it is within the spirit of those suffering that the
words “no more” have begun to form, have begun to dare to form even in the most dangerous
moments.  Even those who depart from physicality have and are carrying the sound, allowing it
to vibrate and to build.  
   In addition, there are those who have been observes of your journeys and cause and effect,
and they too have begun to say the same words, no more; they have begun to request a
ceasing of the horrific suffering; they have begun to sound a tone.  The tone is whole.  The tone
is unchangeable.  The tone has begun to resonate now and will continue to build.  The tone from
the observers is one of love and wholeness, ever reminding all of humanity of its origins, of its
oneness, and of its unity.  As it appears now, the tones from the observers, uniting with the
tones of the suffering saying “no more”; uniting with the tones of those who reside within the
earth and who cause such vibrations to radiate to the skin, vibrations of tenderness and
gentleness forgotten long ago; uniting with those of you who are Forerunners and who have
chosen to awaken within your own journey, to choose joy and delight – even amidst the news,
the horrific news; Forerunners who remember wholeness, who celebrate truth, and who know
that all beings are one being; such uniting vibrates throughout the fabric of all existence.  Such
vibrating, such tones, such uniting – as it appears now – causes the dissolving of what could be
called quasi power, false power, illusionary power.
   When there is such dissolving, there comes forth those who will dare to guide the people
toward healing; there comes forth those who will dare to care for the multitudes; and there
comes forth those who will have within the fabric of who they are manifesting, those capabilities
and seated purposes that can and will turn the events upon earth toward the vibrations and
fulfillment of paradise.  Yes, you might say that the journey would be long within such fulfillment.  
Yet even whilst walking toward the garden, the scent fills you to the brim and overflows,
reminding your heart that love is evermore.
   This year, two thousand and eight, has great possibilities toward mirroring the transformation
that you have been delighting in experiencing.  Oh my dear friends, your world is greatly affected
by your daring to play, to love, daring to make the choices that give to you ease of living… even
in the face of what has been reported again and again.  Oh I am not saying that you must ignore
what is going on; more so, it is your response that is so very powerful.  When you refuse to
dance the anger dance and instead celebrate love and peace, you are choosing your own
venue for experiencing your own divine flowing.  Now that doesn’t mean that anger is a crime; it
simply means that you are always choosing your own arena, your own playground, your own
home.
   As it appears, there will most likely be discovered that some of the labeled extinct creatures
are actually living and well in the most unlikely locations.  This will perhaps give some a moment
to consider that that means.
   But what you would like to hear, and what I so delight in saying is that, my dears, if you are
reading these words, most likely your suffering will diminish to nothing.  Why?  The answer is
simple.  You are more awake than you have ever been before, as a whole and as an individual;
and it is within your awakened state, awakened consciousness that the magic occurs.  That is,
that which has always appears to be impossible, becomes possible.  And it is your saying “yes”
that brings fulfillment into your every experience.  I am most proud of you for all that you have
discovered, all that you have uncovered and released – even those beliefs that comprised your
very foundation.  When you found the thread to unraveling such beliefs and then discovered
their source, you were most expedient in discarding them.  Such discarding, such discovery is
magnificent!  It is Godly!  It is you, discovering, uncovering the Truth of who you are.  And I for
one am most proud of you for that.  Most proud.
